 REL Stapleton is the result of combining two companies REL Products Inc. and Stapleton Corporation. Stapleton Corporation traces it's origin all the way back to 1954 when Bruce Stapleton began manufacturing folding ladders for use by insurance adjusters. REL Products began in 1982 manufacturing auto mechanic support tools, beginning with creepers and developing kin products. With both companies being under the same ownership the two companies were combined to gain efficiences in operations.
